These terms govern your use of slambook (“the service”), a QR-code photo-sharing platform for weddings. By creating an account or using a slambook gallery as a guest, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

1. The service

slambook lets a couple create a wedding photo gallery reachable by a single QR code, and lets their guests upload photos to it without creating an account. The couple (the “account holder”) manages the gallery from a dashboard: names, cover photos, theme, and plan.

2. Plans and payment

A free tier is available with a limited photo count and a limited active period, shown on the plan-selection page at the time you choose it. Paid plans unlock a longer active period, higher or unlimited photo/storage limits, and zip download of the full gallery. Current pricing for every plan is always shown on the plan-selection page and in your dashboard — it is not fixed in these terms because plans and prices may change over time.

Paid plans are billed once per plan period (not a recurring subscription) at the price shown when you select the plan. Payment confirmation may be manual — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how activation and refunds work.

3. Free tier limits

Free galleries have a photo-count limit and expire after a fixed number of days, both shown on the plan-selection page. Once a free gallery expires, we email the account holder before permanently deleting the gallery and its photos, so upgrading in time is the only way to keep them. Existing photos are never deleted just for being over a limit — only new uploads are blocked once a limit is reached.

4. Guest uploads

Anyone with the QR code or gallery link can upload photos while a gallery is active — there is no guest login. Because of this, the account holder is responsible for controlling who has access to their QR code/link (e.g. only printing it for their own guests). Guests are responsible for the photos they upload and must not upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or that they don’t have permission to share.

5. Content ownership & license

You (and the guests who upload to your gallery) retain ownership of the photos uploaded. By uploading, you grant slambook a license to store, process (e.g. resizing for display), and display those photos back to the account holder and their gallery’s visitors, for as long as the gallery exists. We don’t use guest photos for anything else.

6. Account responsibilities

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the details you provide (names, wedding date, venue). We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, abuses the service, or is used for content described in section 4.

7. Availability

We aim to keep galleries available throughout a couple’s active plan period, but the service is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted uptime. We’re not liable for photos lost due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
